Northern VA Company seeks a college graduate in economics or finance to support international lending officers in gathering and analyzing country, market, and industry data to evaluate the viability, strengths/weaknesses, of a portfolio of loans from $1.0 - $15 million. Candidates with 3-5 years equivalent experience will be considered. The successful candidate will have strong financial analysis and writing skills, be able to manipulate large amounts of data in EXCEL, focus on details, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are required to interface with financial decision makers. Applicants must be highly proficient in MS Word, Outlook, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and have the ability to learn Moody’s Financial Statement Analysis, Lotus Notes, and other proprietary software applications. MBA and Foreign languages are a plus. This is a 40-hour per week position, with flexibility between the hours of 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM Monday-Friday. Location is in Washington, D.C.
