Diversified Heat Transfer, Inc. is a small to mid-size Heating & Cooling manufacturing company, conducting business since 1932. DHT, Inc. is currently looking to fill a position of Purchasing Manager. Requirements for this position are as follows:

Professional Skills:
Education: BA/BS in Logistics, Mechanics, Mathematics, and Statistics (Associate Degree is acceptable if there is more than 5 years of experience).
Experience: Solid experience in purchasing (at least 2 years) in the Boiler/HVACs industry ++++
Able to manage purchases between $500,000.00 - 700,000.00 per month
Able to coordinate the delivery of items and meet the deadlines
Ability to delegate, manage, and prioritize
Able to understand, maintain and control inventory
Able to work with vendors and maintain the pricing.
Able to interact with engineering and shop foremen.
Able to read or understand blue prints/drawings is a +++
Effective use of statistical models to predict outcomes
Responsible for overseeing all order processing and scheduling.
Experienced in developing computerized spreadsheets to track daily receiving,
packaging and shipping.
Able to calculate monthly and yearly material requirements, to facilitate
purchases and deliveries of raw materials, negotiate contracts with
suppliers; coordinate all aspects of material planning and stock room material flow.
Strong IT background, able to use technology and improve function performance+++
Software: Accpac (windows) +++ or (very good skills on both MAS 90 or 200)
Intermediate Skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent skills in researching and web surfing.
