RISCO Insurance Services, Inc is seeking immediate position for a licensed Property & Casualty Commercial Underwriter with 3 + years experience.
We are an independent insurance agency in South Gate, California with markets focus on the Hispanic business community. We represent companies such as Golden Eagle, Travelers , CNA, Safeco, California Insurance Group, Zenith, Farmers (F.A.C.T.).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Determining the eligibility of risks
• Marketing
• Preparing applications and proposals, along with servicing and placement of small-midsize commercial accounts
• Establishing a successful relationship with clients
• High level of cross-selling
Top Tier Candidate:
• Lives in Southern California
• Has a marketing acumen with a broad knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and markets.
• Experience selling Health and Life (a plus, but not required)
• Is a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks and is self motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong oral & written communication skills.
• Intermediate Computer/Internet skills; Competent using the MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using an Insurance Management System is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is required

Salary
• USD 40,000.00 to USD 60,000.00 per year
o (Salary is commensurate on years and relevancy of experience).
