Part-Time Medical Assistant
Part-Time EXPERIENCED Medical Assistant wanted to operate an ANY LAB TEST NOW® facility located in Denver. This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced with veinipuncture, drug testing, and lab protocol. Responsibilities include; opening/closing the facility, working with customers, processing specimens, end of day administrative procedures, and working with corporate accounts to ensure satisfaction.
Experience and requirements:
Medical Assisting Degree
CPR Certification
At Least Two years of clinical experience (must be current experience)
DOT Certification ** A PLUS
Great communication skills
Medical Assistant/Chief Phlebotomist
Reports directly To: ANY LAB TEST NOW® Owner
Medical Assistant will be responsible for all operations when the owner is not at the site.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers
Prepare receipt for customer utilizing QuickBooks usage
Draw blood
Prepare specimen according to lab specifications
Process paperwork for lab
Perform drug testing per DOT guidelines
Perform Paramedical Exams
Assist with marketing
Maintain inventory
Perform EOD procedures
Clean facility
Experience and Skills:
Medical Assistant degree
2 years current experience with blood draws
Experience with urine drug testing
Computer knowledgeable
Great communication skills
Great organizational skills
CPR certified
Self starter
Experience with DNA testing, desired
DOT certification **a plus
Quickbooks, Word, Excel knowledge a plus
